Afghanistan peace talks in doubt after Taliban's abrupt walkout
Despite earlier claims this year by the Afghan Taliban that talks to ink some form of “peace deal” to end the protracted conflict were “on track,” the militant group abruptly canceled a scheduled meeting with U.S. officials in Qatar this week over an apparent “agenda disagreement.”
